Sealing your asphalt driveway/parking lot is an excellent way to prolong the life of your asphalt.

By applying an oil-based sealer, such as the one we use, you are protecting your asphalt from the oxidation and evaporation of the essential oils that make up the asphalt. These oils are needed to hold the asphalt together and prevent it from becoming brittle and prone to cracking. There are different types of sealers on the market that will 'coat' your driveway and prevent it from breathing which is why we chose an oil-based sealer that will be absorbed which adds to the longevity of your asphalt.

We will not seal your brand new asphalt. Not only does it prevent the asphalt from 'curing', it is completely unnecessary. We would recommend waiting approximately 3 years or so before considering sealing your asphalt, and we highly encourage that you contact a professional!

Prior to sealing your asphalt, our sales rep will discuss any prevalent cracks and/or holes and create a plan to repair them to prevent them from becoming larger and creating more of a hazard and taking away from the life of your asphalt.

We use an oil-based sealer that still allows your asphalt to breathe as opposed to some of the other 'off-the-shelf' products that are on the market that essentially suffocate the asphalt.
